Anyway, last week was our school's sports day..

(Didn't take any pictures, except those taken with my iPod hah, I didn't bring my camera with me... because it was such a hassle. hahaha. FAIL. and I uh blog. hahah. pictures here are taken from Chelsea, Rachel, and Diyana. hah okay properly credited.)


Anyway yeah that's me with SHA LIN :) Yep, for sports day, we dress up in recycled materials and then do marching and formation! Not many school has this xD haha. From the past years I've learned that this could be a very rewarding experience, so I wasn't going to let it pass by, only the form 4s can join this heh. :)

And sure enough it was rewarding. I learned a lot.. haha. Not that i fancy marching and formation a lot, haha. but i learn from the dedication, the spirit, the teamwork, all the different kinds of people coming together to do achieve one similar goal.. from all the practices we commit ourselves into. It has been a busy 2 weeks oh yeah, staying in school till 630 daily, marching rehearsals under the hot sun, applying sun block with all the girls x) oh god i am not that kind of girl. Why march under the hot sun?? Abusive school system HAHAHA. But it's the discipline and teamwork.. and bla bla bla yadi yadi ya. haha. All the lessons learned made all of that worth it. Merah marchers 2012 for the win :D

Initially it was so hardcore and stressful that none of us red house marchers enjoyed it. Seeing that the other houses had so much fun. Oh God why.. But I think if it hadn't been hardcore (and maybe the stressful part as well) our reaping may not be as rewarding. haha. Towards the ending we started missing it. And even though it has only been 2 weeks, A VERY SHORT 2-week period, that we really committed ourselves... we made so many memories worth remembering, definitely once in a lifetime. :) Made many friends too, even people that I don't really favor in the past. hahha. WE HAD TO BREAK THE WALLS, to make it work. Learn to deal with all sorts of people so that we succeed in a short time..I remember during Friday night, when it was already around 8+ at school and the sky went dark, one senior said "Hey remember to 'check line' okay, and when you do, be careful... don't check extra...." Creeped us out TO THE MAX. haha. 
During the competition itself, we were reminding each other to 'check our lines' 'hands straight' etc, and to SMILE :) Could really feel something, that this is the last time we're doing it and we want to do it right, after we ended our formation, Han Khai said "hey it has all ended, aren't you guys happy." God, I felt my eyes turn watery right there in the field.

Ungu's "sun wu kong" mascot, awesome ehhh !!! They should really have best mascot and best costume too. Instead of just marching and formation awards. A lot of effort put in okay.. and their dragon decor :) wheee. dragon so prettyyy !

Kuning and their scary theme - circus. The clown looks super scary no?? omgg. hahah. the upper lip can moveee okayy. .___. but anyway their deco got first placing x) well earned, well earned, everything was very nicely made ! :) the popcorn, ticket counter, lion, hahha. check out the albums lah, i feel super guilty alre, for using so much of other's pics.

Anyway, Ungu has won overall champion for i don't know how many years alre and kuning beat them this time ! :P so it was one very special Sport's day indeed. hahha.
